It underscores a broader cultural shift towards eco-conscious living and a desire for hands-on experiences. Snow Donuts created the name, branding and packaging design of Botanian – Grow wherever you can imagine.




The name Botanian sounds like a dictionary word we should all know. It is however, a totally unique name. Yet somehow, everybody instantly knows what we’re getting at with the brand. It’s about plants, it’s about a lifestyle. You too can become a Botanian and grow wherever you can imagine.

This grow wherever part is important too: less and less people have access to a private garden, and research shows a high percentage of consumers are likely to expect failure when growing plants with little or no experience.

That’s where Botanian comes in: you can grow wherever you can imagine. All you need is a pot in your kitchen perhaps, a spot in your bathroom, or a ledge of your balcony. No one’s excluded! Add in the feel good mood the innocent looking, unassuming graphics create, and you’ll be in the mood to just go and try it.

This way, both the brand and fun, easy packaging take away most consumers’ concerns (“I don’t have a garden/knowledge”), creating a basis for a worldwide community of enthusiastic new Botanians around the world. Maybe Botanian should be in the dictionary from now on. Be a Botanian – grow wherever you can imagine!
